Who can Vote?

Qualifications to be a Voter
To vote at any contested election in a constituency, your name must be on the latest certified register of electors for that constituency.

You will be entitled to include your name and be registered in a register of electors for a constituency if on the cut-off date for the production of the register of electors -

You are a citizen of Singapore i.e. holder of a Pink-coloured Identity Card;
You are at least 21 years old ; and
You are ordinarily resident or deemed to be ordinarily resident in Singapore at an address that is in that constituency.

For electoral purposes, the address stated in your Identity Card will be regarded as the address at which you are ordinarily resident. Any question about ordinary residence can be directed to the Registration Officer at ELD.
