  NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES

A nomination must be made -
  a.
using the prescribed Nomination Paper (to be submitted in duplicate);
b. accompanied by a Political Donation Certificate issued by the Registrar of Political Donations relating to each nominee; and
c. with the election deposit (or receipt of the deposit if it had already been paid to the Accountant-General’s Department).

For a person seeking election as the President, his/her Nomination Papers must also be accompanied by the Certificate of Eligibility.

For a group of persons seeking election as Members of Parliament in a Group Representation Constituency, the group’s Nomination Papers must also be accompanied by a certificate from either the Malay Community Committee or the Indian and other Minority Communities Committee, which relates to at least one of the group members.
